I've been doing art professionally for a very long time. I've been spending way too much time using my talent to make others rich, so I've decided now that I'm 12 years wiser, it's time for me to put out my own project once again, and make myself rich!!! Keep your eyes out, because I'll have some announcements soon!

Current Residence: Denver, CO
Favourite genre of music: Metal
Favourite photographer: There are some great ones here. How do I pick?
Favourite style of art: Check my favorites for more info
Operating System: A different one on each computer...
MP3 player of choice: ipod - great for a 2 hour commute...
Shell of choice: What does that even mean?
Wallpaper of choice: Whatever inspires me at the time
Skin of choice: Chicken. Bad for me, but so tasty
Favourite cartoon character: Stewie Griffin
Interests
So, almost 60,000 page views!  A pittance compared to some people out there, I know.  But it is a landmark, and I think I'll have to do a new piece of artwork for the event.

Luckily, this coincides with a cool Character of the Week challenge over at conceptart.org... perhaps I can combine the two.

We shall see!  I'm really busy with teaching at the DEAD Academy ( www.deadacademy.com ) and working on a new comic book project with Miss Katonic and GWAR ( www.misskatonic.com ) but I'll really try to fit something new in!

hey do you do horror commissions for book covers? Your work is amazing by the way.
ally i really need is two characters, one is a female in a swat uniform pointing a gun with a laser sight at a cereal killer type guy wearing a gas-mask  (reference My bloody valentine killer but with the gas mask white. He'd have to be holding a gas canister in his hand and be looking straight at her even tho she is aiming a gun) he also has a long black torn cape thingy with a hood that partially covers the mask (reference scream). i am willing to pay

I totally want to attend the heroic figure invention class...but currently i'm going to one of those cookie cutter schools you spoke of...maybe you've heard of it...RMCAD? lol just kidding RMCAD is awesome. may be a bit different than when you attended, but still i'd like to attend a class at your school sometime. Just gotta work finances coz i have a family i'm taking care of so two schools at once can be a bit much. Very nice gallery by the way and i'm glad you're pursuing educating people on your ways!

I went to RMCAD as well for a year. I found they wouldn't let me tailor my portfolio to the entertainment industry, I had to do the assignments exactly as they said. Then I went to the Art Academy of Los Angeles, which was taught by professional artists in movies, video games and comics, and it was perfect for me. That model is what the DEAD Academy is based on. We give you access to teachers who have done it all before, know what the industry demands, and can squeeze the best portfolio out of you. We don't offer a degree, but we're more affordable, and no math or English classes.
