This image was done for another ConceptArt.org Character of the Week competition entitled Harajuku Warrior. Apparently Harajuku is a Japanese cultural clothing style that the kids are into big time, for those who don't know (google it).

For this one, I contacted the great industrial/ goth model Project Malice [link] and asked if she was familiar with the style and if she'd be willing to model for my drawing. She said that of course she knew the style, and would be glad to model.

So this was the result of our collaboration. I think it came out pretty cool. Sadly, as with my Goblin Pinup [link] and Steampunk Witchblade [link] I didn't win the contest. Not even close. My ego says it's because it's a popularity contest and I don't have a following there to say "come vote for my entry!" to. So I'll go with that.
